Youth & Parents

  • Establishing and sponsoring youth ambassadors and teams in schools who are champions for efforts to reduce youth substance use.

  • Establishing city wide youth substance abuse councils.

  • Sponsoring and conducting ongoing youth events to reduce substance abuse (contests, rallies, youth newsletters, etc.). 

  • Developing youth volunteer networks to assist the CFHP to achieve program goals. 

  • Facilitate the establishment of evidence based programs in schools and CBO’s.

  • Sponsoring and conducting school substance abuse prevention events, (i.e. red ribbon, etc.).

  • Parent engagement & training events to empower them with skills to prevent youth substance use.
