The Youngstown Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program. YUMADAOP is a 501 (c) (3) community based non profit agency that provides behavioral health prevention for all citizens of Mahoning County, with a focus on providing culturally appropriate services for those who reside in the inner city, particularly those of African-American and Hispanic descent.

We utilize state of the art evidence based prevention practices and holistic approaches to promote wellness that will result in drug free lifestyle for youth, responsible adults, a lack of interpersonal violence among community members, academic excellence, and literacy in youth, and a lack of recidivism in our returning citizens.

YUMADAOP is an Ohio MHAS licensed prevention organization.
